Dr. Donna Hoffman is a research psychologist with bachelors and masters degrees in Clinical Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles and a  Ph.D. degree in Psychology with Honors from Capella University, with a focus on Positive Psychology and wellness. She was born and raised in Southern California, where she currently resides.

She loves writing and has a few published stories in The Storyteller Magazine, where she won the award for Readers Choice for Best Fiction a few years back. Her love of books has garnered her a large library of over 2500 books. Her favorite genres are romance, historical fiction, and The Classics.

Genealogy is a hobby and Dr. Hoffman has traced her ancestry on her father’s side all the way back to Devon and Dorset, England in the year 900AD.  She has a love for The English Countryside and New England and her stories often reflect those settings.
